Today is the European Day of Languages!

European Day of Languages (September 26th) started in 2001, when it has been proclaimed by the Council of Europe. Its goal is to promote language learning across Europe and multilingualism as well as show the rich cultural diversity of Europe. There are about 225 indigenous languages spoken in Europe.
